Remote Access Policy
Effective August 15, 2026 · Last updated August 23, 2026
This Remote Access Policy is part of your agreement with Pulse PC. It applies every time you let us see or control your computer, phone, or account during a session — including screen share and full remote control through Discord, Zoom, TeamViewer, or any similar tool.
By joining a session, sharing your screen, or accepting a remote-control prompt, you agree to this policy and the Terms of Service.
We do not start remote access until a payment method is saved for the booking.
1. You are in charge of access
- Nothing is installed or accessed unless you agree in the moment. You can say no to any step.
- You can watch the entire session. You can tell us to stop. You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting ends our access.
- You confirm you own the device or have the owner’s permission, and that granting access does not violate an employer, school, or family rule you are bound by.
2. What we may do
Only as needed for the job you asked us to do, we may:
- View the screen, running programs, settings, error messages, and hardware reports you share.
- With your OK, take remote control, install or remove software, change settings, create or use a temporary admin account, reboot, or run diagnostic commands.
- Download vendor drivers, Windows updates, or reputable tools (for example malware scanners) onto the machine, and remove them at the end if you want.
We will not, without a clear extra ask from you: read unrelated personal mail or photos, copy your files off the machine for our own use, change your passwords to ones we keep, or leave a hidden remote-access tool running after we disconnect.
3. What we will not do
- Bypass someone else’s account, DRM, or device lock that you do not control.
- Install pirated software or cracked games.
- Help attack, scan, or break into any other system.
- Guarantee that malware is gone forever, that a clean install will keep every license, or that a parts list will stay compatible with every future update.
4. Backups and data loss
You must back up anything you cannot afford to lose before the session. Repair work can fail. Drives die. Clean installs erase disks. A “simple” setting change can break a login. Pulse PC is not liable for lost files, lost photos, lost game saves, lost wallets, lost work product, or downtime, except to the limited extent the Terms allow.
If we believe a step is likely to destroy data (format, partition, reset, major in-place upgrade), we will say so and wait for you to confirm.
5. Passwords and secrets
Type your own passwords when a login is needed. Do not put passwords, seed phrases, 2FA codes, or bank PINs in the website form or a chat you do not control. If you must share a temporary password, change it when we are done.
6. Recording
We do not record sessions by default. If either of us wants a recording, we will say so first. Platform tools (Zoom cloud recordings, Discord, TeamViewer logs) may still keep their own records under those companies’ rules.
7. After the session
- We disconnect. You should confirm the remote tool shows offline.
- You may ask us to uninstall TeamViewer or similar. We will if time remains, or in a short follow-up.
- Any notes we keep are handled under the Privacy Policy.
8. Your acknowledgment
You understand remote repair has risk. You authorize Pulse PC to perform the work you requested, you have backed up or accepted the risk of not backing up, and you agree that Pulse PC’s responsibility is limited as described in the Terms.
