Terms of Service

Effective August 15, 2026 · Last updated August 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Pulse PC for use of getpulsepc.com and for any live remote help, build advice, or related work we do for you.

By using the site, booking a session, or paying for work, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Remote Access Policy. If you do not agree, do not book and do not grant access to your computer.

This is a legal agreement, written in plain language on purpose. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer in your state.

1. Who we are and what we do

Pulse PC provides remote, 1-on-1 technical help: diagnostics, troubleshooting, Windows setup, malware cleanup, performance work, hardware-upgrade guidance, and PC-build consultation. Sessions are remote (Discord, Zoom, or TeamViewer). We do not operate a drop-off shop.

The free wizard — a short click-through checkup — and the guides are general information. They are not a guarantee, not a substitute for a live session, and not professional advice for every machine.

Contact: d.banner@getpulsepc.com or (312) 442-0618. 409 E Wolf River Ave, New London, WI 54961. Hours on the site (Mon–Fri 6–10pm CT) are when we take bookings, not a promise we are free every minute of that window.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, or a parent/guardian must book and stay responsible for the session. You must own the computer or have permission from the owner to let us work on it. You are responsible for any account, license, or workplace-policy issues that come from granting us access.

3. Booking and cancellation

4. Fees and payment

5. Scope of work

We will work on the problem you describe. We may refuse work that is illegal, that we are not equipped to do, that would require breaking license terms, or that we reasonably believe could harm you or someone else (for example, bypassing device locks you do not own, or attacking another system).

A session is time and effort, not a guaranteed outcome. Some problems cannot be fixed remotely, need parts you do not have, or need a clean install you have not backed up first.

6. Your responsibilities

7. No warranty

THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PULSE PC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that a problem will be fixed, that malware will never return, that a build list will match every future driver, or that the site will always be up.

8. Limit of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PULSE PC AND ITS OWNER ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST TIME, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SITE OR A SESSION IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID PULSE PC FOR THE SPECIFIC SESSION THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows. This does not limit liability that the law says we cannot limit (for example, certain personal-injury or fraud claims, if they apply).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Pulse PC harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees that come from: (a) your misuse of the site or our work, (b) content or data you provide, (c) your failure to back up, or (d) you granting access to a machine or account you were not allowed to share.

10. Intellectual property

The site, wizard, guides, and Pulse PC name and logo are ours. You may use the free guides for your own computer. You may not copy the site or resell our materials. Feedback you send us can be used to improve the service without paying you.

11. Third-party tools

You pick a time on our site, then pay the deposit through Stripe. Contact uses email, phone, or Discord. Sessions may use Zoom, Discord, or TeamViewer. Those services are not Pulse PC. Their outages, terms, and privacy practices are theirs. We are not responsible for them.

12. Site rules

Do not scrape, attack, or overload the site. Do not use the contact form to spam. We may block access or refuse service if you abuse the site or our staff.

13. Changes and termination

We can update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. For a session already booked, the Terms in effect when you booked still apply to that session unless a change is required by law. We can refuse or end a session if you violate these Terms.

14. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Pulse PC maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Pulse PC will first try to resolve a dispute by email for 30 days. If that fails, courts in that state have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise. You waive a class action to the extent the law allows.

15. Miscellaneous

If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms, plus the Privacy Policy and Remote Access Policy, are the entire agreement for the site and our remote work, unless we sign something else with you. We may email you at the address you give us. Failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver.
